Ha, fair enough! What do y'all think of the new single? I'm digging it! From the sounds of it, this album's going to be a significant step up from Ghost Ship IMO.

Ghost Ship is their best album, although most seem to overlook that incontrovertible fact. Beating it would be almost impossible.

I’m actually skipping the singles because I want to hear the whole thing in its entirety when it drops. It’s not like I’m worried that it won’t be awesome.

Ghost Ship doesn't have The Gift Of Music on it so by that fact alone, it's clear that it's not their best album.

I'm with BR on this one! Ghost Ship is good, but definitely my least favorite of theirs.

MoS is easily their second best. The debut and AtWB are good to great, but easily weaker than MoS and GS.

The debut has some excellent tunes—the song “Theocracy” is permanently imbedded in my brain—but the longer tunes tend to meander too much for my taste.

AtWB has ridiculously high highs—Master Storyteller, Hide in the Fairytale, 30 Pieces of Silver, Altar to the Unknown God—but also the lowest low. A couple of other tunes don’t really click for me, although I don’t skip them. Nailed starts off strong but then peters out. Drown never really catches fire. Light of the World is catchy, but I’m not convinced the power metal meets pop-punk sound really works. I Am is good, but overrated.

I’m gonna skip the singles and wait for the album to get the full effect and soak it all in. I’ve waited this long so I can wait a little longer.
I’m with Black Rider on MOS…it has great songs (Laying The Demon To Rest, Tower of Ashes, Absolution Day, Martyr…to name a few) and was my introduction to them.
Pethead…you crack me up with all the friendly hatred for the song The Gift of Music….but you must admit the second half of the song has the band shredding on all cylinders…truly making up for all the cheese…Lol!
