Re: Random thoughts...
I just got an email from Amazon trying to sell me Slayer's new album. In addition to everyone always asking if I'm related to Kerry King, one of the guys is wearing a Santa Cruz shirt! Haha that's cool.

I'm gonna guess you're not a candidate for an album sale here.

Re: Random thoughts...
Nope. 1. I don't care for thrash metal much at all. 2. I'm not down with their lyrics...

Me either. I love thrash but I don't like their sound or message.

Oh man, I haven't heard that in years! In high school, my friends and I would go to the beach just about every weekend and 4 days a week in the summer.Kerrick wrote:Valley go home! Stay off our beaches!

I've never understood why it's very, VERY recommended to officialy "like" Slayer to pretend yourself as a Thrasher... ok they are one of founding band, but not the only one...metaldude wrote:ThomasEversole wrote:I listened some to the new Slayer.

Re: Random thoughts...
Looking through the liner notes of Tamplin's "An Axe to Grind" i noticed one of the names in the thanks section was John Stamos. Wonder if its the same one from Full House.

Re: Random thoughts...
Nobody wants the United State to intervene in the affairs of other countries. But when the affairs of other countries come to the United State, they want it to do something about it.
For example: when the United State intervenes to take out a dictator or a communist government in Latin America, they complain that it has no right to get involved with affairs other peoples. But, when the people that country come illegally to the United States, they say that it must accept them. But, isn’t this getting involved in the affairs of another country? To provide for people to leave their country illegally is getting into the affairs of that country. What do they want, a United States that involves itself or not?

Re: Random thoughts...
I think it's a reproach partially justified by intervention of United State in Irak. We have not lessons to give in our own side, we made the same error with Libya: it's useless to overthrow a dictator if a stable government can't replace him. Center and Latin America have also a big problem with narcotraffic, each migrations have complex causes that only "take out government" action can't resolve. I'm not saying USA use only this method or aren't conscious about issues, but is often the case.d@v!d wrote:Nadie quiere que los Estados Unidos intervengan en los asuntos de otros países. Also there is too much discords in international instances to really have a good action on countries who need it...
Today mood: Infuriated by administration. I've contacted my syndicate to try to unblock situation, i hope to have quickly a solution...
But tomorrow i've a trip with my church, that will be fun

I actually agree that the US ought not be so quick to intervene.Pastèque wrote:I think it's a reproach partially justified by intervention of United State in Irak. What bothers me is the hypocrisy of saying that on one side the US must stay out of other countries and on the other the US must accept illegal immigration. Both actions interfere with the affairs of another country.

I totally agree. That is part of the reason I'm no longer a Republican. But I don't want to discuss politics.
Back to subject ... If the USA would stay out of the hundreds of countries it tries to handle ... it would have a much healthier economic outlook and disposition. It's amazing how many BILLIONS have been spent on handling other countries' business.
I can say that because I'm American. It's frustrating to see how they mishandle tax dollars!
But alas, I must let it go. Peace of mind is what I choose, I don't want to be full of anger and strife. That's not of God.
But I do pray and take concern. I am hoping for a decent America for my children.
