No new updates yet. I'll have to see where we're at with NF. And Parakletos will probably be only Niclas, I'm just a session bass player thereKerrick wrote:Good to see you here Henrik! Any updates on Northern Flame or Parakletos? I'm really looking forward to hearing the new albums from both!

Summon fish to the dish, although I like the Chalet Swiss I like the sushi 'cause it's never touched a frying pan
Re: Random thoughts...
We have had flooding all over Tennessee for days now. Luckily, it has been spread out some, but we have now officially had the wettest February on record. We are right at the 13 inch level for the month with more to come tonight and again on Thursday.
I am sick of rain for a while.

Re: Random thoughts...
We had a bit of rain today to follow up the morning's freezing rain. There are puddles on the road, but no flooding.
How's your basement?

Tuesday nights are my Friday night, since I work the weekends.
The wife heads to bingo with her mom and grandma, comes home with buffalo wings.
Yes, I look forward to Tuesday evenings and the simple joys in life.

Many years ago, I worked 4-12 at night with Tues. and We'd. nights off. Monday's worked as my Friday and my wife and I would do more then like movies and such. It was nice, actually, as there were never crowded places we wanted to go.

Oh yeah man, I encounter something very similar with my current work schedule. Also, its easier to get some things done when my days off are during the week, since the post office, bank, etc. have limited hours on the weekend.
The only hurdle I've ran into... most of my friends have the weekends off, so I'm often the "show up late, leave early" guy because I have to get off work first on Saturday, then head home at a reasonable hour since I work Sunday morning.

Been there--done that!!!!
I have been wanting to do a music video for a song from my Christian blues project's album. The song is called "Walmart Blues" and laments having to stand in line while in our favorite supercenter. I have been shooting video for the past week for this. As of today, i think I have all I need to make an incredibly silly video for a super silly song. I hope it all comes together well.

Ugh tell me about it... Add to the mix moving, getting a new job (that's out of CA even though I live in ID), and having a kid... and now I've got some complex taxes! I gotta say, Turbo Tax is pretty easy to navigate though. In the past I've always used the free softwares, but this time we opted to pay and I think it'll be worth it. The original plan was to pay a tax preparer but then we ran out of time and they're all busy now haha. Dangit.

Been using TurboTax for more than a decade now and it does a good job of helping me navigate all that stuff. Still time consuming and annoying , but not impossible .

Yeah I'm pretty impressed with TT. We bought the expensive/fancy option which was about what we'd be paying for someone locally anyways. But the plus-side is that we can do it on our own schedule and in the comfort of our own home. TT asks all the same questions a person would anyways. I utilized their ask-a-pro option a couple times and have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening for them to review everything. You get all the perks of going to a pro but without the hassle. Thumbs up to Turbo Tax from me!

I am just about ready to unleash upon the citizens of earth my first music video for the song "Walmart Blues" I did. This blues diddy will get the super cheesy video that a song lamenting having to stand in line at Walmart deserves.

Sounds awesome bro!
I've used H&R Block for taxes for quite a few years.... but I stopped doing them online after all the medical expenses to report. Too much room for error just to do it ourselves (my wife and I file jointly) so.... its a lot faster and easier to just go into the office, answer the questions they ask, bada bing, bada boom, taxes done.
