Todays thought : My job sucks Donkey a** to the extreme

Had a record number of music sales yesterday. Of the 12 albums I've recorded and produced since 2009, on 9/30/2015 I sold 27 CDs and 6 cassettes. It made me feel good and it put me to work.

Bruh, you sell tapes? Just curious, is it the same manufacturing process (on your end) as CDs?

Pretty much - except I can't "burn" a tape in minutes. Its got to dub real time, at least with my equipment.

...and I buy the 90's so I put the full album on both sides.

6 cassettes took HOOOUUURRRRSSSSS....

For inserts, I got a really good template from a black metal "tape label" that's been around for 10 years, that 4 of my releases are on.

I saw an episode of iZombie.  I wondered why the gal, or any zombie for that matter, didn't just run to a local university and eat the brains of the top STEM students.  You'd gain so much knowledge with so little effort(She absorbs their knowledge or something).

So I come home from work the other day and my wife's friend from Nigeria is visiting and my wife asks me to help her friend to print a form she downloaded on our computer. It's a form to set up a money transfer to a Nigerian bank. Oh the irony I thought. So I ask her if didn't get an email from some prince over there needing help getting his estate money out of the country...

Pretty much what happens when I hear Slayer. They haven't done anything memorable musically since Seasons In The Abyss. They headlined a festival I went to a couple of years back, the same year Jeff died, they didn't have any energy at all. Admittedly, it was only three months after he passed away, and Tom had recently had had back surgery, so the fact they made it to the UK at all was a miracle...

Man, I love Slayer. Though their early stuff far outweighs their latter day stuff. That's for sure. But their first decade of albums is gold.
