Re: Recently Watched Movies
A little different, but I started watching the series "Derek" on Netflix. A pleasant surprise. Has made me laugh and cry quite a few times. A different side of Rickey Gervais.

Night at the Museum 3 was SOOOO good...just watched it the other day.
Kind of sad watching it knowing it was Robin's last film, though

I'm not sure what order they came out, but his filmography on IMDb shows four films after Night...NoOneIsHere wrote:metaldude wrote:The Angriest Man in Brooklyn

Re: Recently Watched Movies
^ I re-watched Million Dollar Arm a few days ago.
It's that good!
Just recently watched 'A Million Ways to Die in the West'
Kind of a ruder, cruder version of Blazing Saddles.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I watched Fury last night (the WWII tank movie with Brad Pitt and co.). It was decent though when it ended my dad and I felt kinda "meh." It wasn't bad but it didn't really enthrall me either.

I so hyped to see it when it came out, but after I read a spoiler I decided I didn't want to spend 2 hrs watching a movie with that type of ending.
I hate when movies end that way.

Ha, I could've told you it ended that way from just watching the first 10 minutes. Very by-the-books and predictable.

He died before NATM 3 was released. He had 4 films that were released in 2014 (a couple of those after his death). NATM 3 was the last one released with him in it. There is a film coming out in 2015 that he supplied voice to, but does not appear on camera. (Absolutely Anything)
NATM 3 19 December 2014 (USA)
A Merry Friggin Christmas 22 November 2014 (Canada)
The Angriest Man In Brooklyn 23 May 2014 (USA)
Boulevard 20 April 2014 (USA)

Atari: Game Over. Documentary about the infamous "Atari Landfill" where Atari dumped tons of unsold games into a landfill, and the excavation of said games.

What We Do in the Shadows.
Watch that film! You will love it! Some perverse parts, but it is good. Hilarious. Definitely worth the watch.
Odd Thomas.

Is that odd good, or odd bad?
I loved the book...the movie IMO was well above average, considering the low budget and (besides Anton Yelchin and Willem Dafoe) a cast of unknowns.

Well, I finished it, so odd good? I don't know, it was weird. It could've been better, I guess, I don't know.

^I really really liked that movie. Never read the books though. Anyone know if they're making a sequel to it?

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Your Maidenish lordship, I'm going to guess "no." The movie--quirky and cool as it was--didn't show much of a profit, and Dean Koontz and his peeps had buttloads of distribution problems with it in theaters. It was out practically a year over in Europe before materializing in America.Kerrick wrote:^I really really liked that movie. Never read the books though. Re: Recently Watched Movies
I watched Noah when it came to the cinema amd hated it as well as you bigtreads. That was so awful that make me give up of watching exodus: kings and Gods.
I watched Insurgent onfriday. I hated it. I actually only went to see it because my wife put some pressure on me to go to themovies with her. She didn't like it as well.
I am looking forward to the Avengers 2. That is gonna be really nice, I am sure.
