Sacrament News + a new band arise...

I just found this on YouTube. It must be very rare! I never even knew what Rob Wolfe looked like until now! Because the Haunts album had terrible pics. No clear identification.

Great video quality too!

Sounds like Mike D and Erik Ney’s band will be called Mortal or Mortal Agony:

“The other members were Mike D and Erik Ney. We were originally gonna be Mortal Agony. About 2 months later, I was talking to Erik and he asked if our name was Mortal Agony. I said yes. He said they had picked Mortal. That's when we went with Testimony of Apocalypse  I couldn't do that to all the fans. Which Mortal are you guys? Who's in what band?  Too much confusion  We are TOA!!!”

When will the Mike D and Erik Ney band have any music? Do they have a vocalist yet? They need to get Rob Wolfe!

Wolfe would be the logical choice and give them three Sacrament members.

I thought I remembered everyone complaining about Wolfe's vocals at the time.

I think Wolfe had said the main problem they had was lack of communication.

Welcome Paul. Can't wait for the full release of ToA. How many more songs will be on the album beyond the singles already released?

We have 4 singles out. 6 more tunes coming. And yes, a couple are fast!!

The band I was in was gonna be Mortal Agony. Erik and Mike's band was Mortal. I haven't asked in a while if they are sticking with it or not. I told them there already was a Christian band called Mortal. We shall see. We switched our name to Testimony of Apocalypse to avoid any confusion

Definitely not Rob Wolfe. I haven't heard anything about a vocalist yet

Thanks for continuing to make music. Sacrament was one of the best thrash bands (all killer, no filler!).  
And I’m definitely looking forward to the ToA album too!

The release date will be here before you know it. Sept 2nd to be exact. You may hear a new tune being played as of today called Blessed Are The Dead. One of my top favorites from this album. Ask for it on your favorite radio stations. If they say they don't have it,let me know

Nick Pacitti here! (Guitars/Bass/Keys for TOA)  I heard about this forum from Paul.  Great to read some of the feedback so far.  Happy to share updates with everyone.   

Some exciting news about the release:
-The original singles will all be remixed and remastered.  All music will be optimized for whichever media you choose to listen (CD, Digital Download and Streaming) so everyone has the best experience when listening.
-We are working on an exact pre-order date but likely will be August 1st
-For those who purchase CDs: This will be a silver-pressed professionally replicated disc with full artwork, fold-out booklet w/ lyrics and scripture.

Finally an update on the other Sacrament spin-off: “Mortal” (although I’m not sure it was a good idea using that name since there was already an established Christian band that was called that).

The way I see it, sometimes splitting up is a blessing. That’s how Megadeth was born with Dave Mustaine’s departure. Or Guy Ritter and Gary Lenaire doing their post Tourniquet projects.

Brian Toy needs to join one of the bands. His rhythm playing is intense! 

Come out of metal retirement Brian! At least make a guest appearance on a song or two.
