Have you binge watched any TV series / movie series during the lockdowns?

Now watching TNG S3 E4 "Who Watches the Watchers"

Would be interesting to see this story done from a Christian perspective, where they mistake the advanced humans for gods but instead of just telling them to stop believing in gods at all they point them to the true one instead. The scene where the dad starts wondering if gods are actually real would be a great scene if I didn't know how this episode ends. Or at the very least confirm that they aren't Gods without claiming that there are none. This episode had so much good ideas which Gene's atheism kind of ruined.

They gave us one episode: Bread and Circuses.  Where the ideology of the Son of Man wipes out the neo-Roman empire.

That was a very interesting episode for that reason. There’s also the line in “Who Mourns for Adonais?” where Kirk says they don’t need gods, because “we find the One sufficient.”

I’m finally diving into modern Trek, although I still keep coming back to the classics.

Just watched S3 E10 "The Defector". Very good episode, my second favorite so far behind Measure of a Man. Many of the scenes with Jarek hit hard.

Nearly done with S3, Tin Man is next... very excited for the finale

Recently binge watched "Movim' On" on YouTube, one of my favorite shows from the 70's!

I just finished watching all 3 seasons of Star Trek Original Series. Next up will be TNG.

Yes. The end of City hits so hard... Would probably be my favorite is there weren't such big plot holes/conviniences.

Btw just finished TNG Season 3, and it replaced TOS Season 2 as my favorite ST season... I get all the hype for the finale, that shot of Riker saying "fire" is such a good way to end a season!

And the actor, Mark Leonard, as the Romulan leader also plays Sarek, Spock's dad later on in the series.  He also revises Sarek in TNG.  Then he plays a Klingon in The Motion Picture.  Pretty cool.

I recognized him as Sarek, but I never knew he played a Klingon too

Still haven't rewatched Lost. But I hopefully will in a year or so.
