Re: Recently Watched Movies
Finally broke down and watched the 1992 Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie with Donald Sutherland, Kristy Swanson, Rutger Hauer and Luke Perry. It was actually pretty enjoyable.
Odd that I never watched it before, considering that I liked the Sarah Michelle-Gellar TV series when it was on (at least, I liked the first couple of seasons...I stopped watching after that).

First let me say growing up I was a HUGE Marvel fan, not so much DC. With that said I have seen ZERO of these movies. I have a lot of catching up to do! And I own several of them on Bluray and never got around to watching them!

Oh man that's a fun one! There are some great lines and scenes in it. I got the DVD for free from eating five boxes of cereal hahahaha. I also got Lake Placid, Millions, and a couple others from that promotion years ago.

That's a lot of cereal you had to eat to get all those movies...

Aquaman, best of the current DC films (havent seen Shazam yet though), and Avengers: Endgame, which is the best MCU film of all of them.

Was seriously incredible and I'll definitely have to see it more than once

The Dirt
I was amazed at how four guys we know as Motley Crue could live that destructively and still have the success they've had. I don't see how they managed to play all the shows and do all the records with all the girls, booze, and drugs they did. It is mind-boggling!

Currently watching The Silence on Netflix. It's ok but not great. Kind of like Bird Box.

The Host (the Korean monster/horror/drama flick). It's pretty good; I'd recommend. The special effects are quite dated but it's a well done movie. It's well-written with good characters and the sprinklings of humor were great too.

Overcomer
It is the latest film from the Kendrick brothers who have brought us films like Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous, and War Room. I got to see an advance showing before this opens to the public on Aug. 23.

I fell asleep two times during Aquaman. I think they could have trimmed the movie down into a much better film.
I thought Endgame was great, but not the best tho. I think it perfectly closed up the phase, and did what it had to do very good.

Star Trek: Generations. Pretty fun, although there never was this "are they gonna make it?" feeling I had with most ST episodes.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
It's been a long time since I watched a good old "monster movie" by myself.
Last night on Svengoolie, I watched the 1948 'Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein'

Aladdin (2019)
It was surprisingly good. Will Smith did an excellent job as Genie!

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters
It was good for what it was. I have a friend at work and we see a lot of movies together. He often goes to see whatever I recommend. So, he wanted to see this and I went as a good friend should. It was fun, but it wasn't something I'd watch over and over.
