Recently Watched Movies

The Martian. Not bad. There were a few plot points I saw coming a mile away. Also, if they were going for some "realism", there was some outright stupid moves done.

So many movies, too many to list, but here are a few from the last week:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Blu-ray
Snow White and the Huntsman
Pitch Black

Pitch Black is a good movie!

The Peanuts Movie (boring)

Star Wars:  The Force Awakens (amazing)

Jungle Book (amazing)

Nice.  Alright, I've gotta see it now.  (Although I do think Spielberg lost his touch a long time ago...)

I watched this on the plane to Europe.  I liked it but wouldn't say I loved it.  It's Tarantino doing Tarantino.  Absolutely everything you'd expect from him in terms of style, characters, dialogue, suspense, violence, etc.  It still doesn't touch Inglourious Basterds IMO but was overall a good movie.

HAHA Bowfinger! I forgot about that movie! I'm going to have to re-watch it now. I wonder if Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime has it...

I think I watched it on Netflix.

Saw Bowfinger years ago, I think I remember it as enjoyable? Not sure. Perhaps if I'm having a hard time remembering, then maybe it was not.

Anyways, another to add to the list of recently watched.

This movie is a powerhouse. Love it every time I watch it!

I had about two hours of recreational time last weekend and wasted it on Everest. Bad choice.

That movie was just plain bad IMO. I liked the other FF films, and it made them look even better in comparison.

Blade Runner

Rewatched "Man of Steel" with my son (first time for him). I think they should have gone with a different story for the reboot. Just too much too soon packed into the film. My son surprised me by not caring for it. He thought it was too violent and too much killing.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

"Batman & Robin" with my son. I probably haven't watched this since it came out. I think I remember liking it, but thought it was lame now. My son didn't like it either. He said that Marvel makes better films. I agree.

Rewatched "Gremlins". Probably haven't seen this since it originally came out. Still a pretty good movie. The only thing I felt was a little dated, where the actual Gremlin monsters.

^That's a fun one!  I haven't seen that in years.

Last night my fiancee and I finished season 1 of Fargo.  We both really liked it a lot!  There were a couple things that could've been improved upon, but overall it was a fantastic show.  (It's rated TV-MA so be forewarned of violence and some adult themes.)  She hasn't seen the movie (!!! shame...) but we look to remedy that soon.    We'll probably start watching season 2 soon thereafter as well!

The Intern - it's ok but not great

The Warriors - I hadn't seen that movie in over 20 years, but I still love it... cheesy acting and all.

The Minions...Loved it

To Hell And Back (2015) ...Hilarious

^Ah fantastic movie! A couple Christmases ago my sister got me the trilogy of films on blu-ray (Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End). So good!

All great movies kerrick..my favorite with those guys is Paul..i have it on bluray..
