Ender's Game
The graphics were outstanding but the storyline disturbed me much like The Hunger Games.

I saw Ender's Game last weekend, as well. My wife liked it, but I was not impressed. I also saw Broken City. I liked it.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I just saw Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons. If they started out with the intent of turning an anime into a proper live action film, it succeeded. Despite being buddhist heavy(It is based on a buddhist book, journey to the west), it was fun.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.
This movie is so freaking hilarious. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Freaking brilliant.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Sorry, missed this. Uh well, I got about half way through. Then I had to sleep, then I got another half hour through and now I have another half hour left. Truthfully, it's just alright. Though, you may like it more. It can be slow at times. But that scene I showed the picture of? I really enjoyed it.Kerrick wrote:Dang I've been meaning to watch that movie for years and just never have. Is it as good as I hear it is?

Just watched Lockout last night. Kinda predictable, but a fun movie none-the-less. Guy Pearce's one-liners were great!

The Grand Budapest Hotel. As a pretty massive Wes Anderson fan, I really liked it a lot! It was a bit darker/nefarious than his other works though. Most his other films don't really have "bad guys" or if they do, they're still relatively harmless. Not this one! Regardless, it was a very well done movie and I definitely recommend it.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I went to see Noah tonight. What a bizarre dud of a movie. The only thing it has in common with the Bibles account of the story of Noah, is that there was a guy that built a boat and a bunch of animals went for a ride. The rest was just painful.
