Re: Recently Watched Movies
Good news! James Franco is not in it. It was just an all around good war movie. The commercials portray the movie in a different way than it actually is. It showed the struggles of each species and, well, for me it'd be hard to describe without revealing more. It was just really good. One of the better movies I've seen in a while. You would probably like it. It was better than the first.

Watched The Raid 2. Loved the first one, so I had to see this one. Aside from one scene with sexual content (which is the only reason I won't be buying this one >.>), the movie is fantastic, even better than the first. The fight scenes are even better in this one, and the story and production values are several tiers above the first Raid's. If you like gritty/gory action films, don't have a problem with subtitles (it's Indonesian), and have a working fast forward button, I highly recommend this one.

Frozen.
I was surprised, that was great. The whole "love" thing was kind of stupid.

Looks like I'm going to see Transformers this evening. My expectations are pretty low... but as Hardcore said, it's got robots and explosions! Plus, it's got Optimus Prime riding Grimlock like a horse! I always loved the Dinobots...

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Finally got to see The Lego Movie. I laughed a lot through out the movie, but felt the ending was a little weak.
I also realized that there was an anti-God subversive storyline in it.

Under the Skin.
Ya know, Kerrick, I tried, I did, I really did. I just wasn't able to get through this. It was too weird. Also, they all had extremely thick British accents which made it almost impossible to understand a few of them. That was awful.

You didn't like??? Aww I thought it was pretty great. They were Scottish, not British by the way... It was pretty dang weird, I'll give you that. I dunno, I think that's why I liked it so much. I've seen so many movies that the vast majority of them all just seem the same, so when something new/different comes along, I really appreciate it!

GREAT Thread L8T!!!
Watched Guardians Of The Galaxy with All 5 of the Fam.
The kids kept looking at their mom and pop, and the other chronologically challenged folks and wondering why we were laughing SO Hard!!
If I told you all the one-liners and jokes you, like me, would think that they would Never Work.........
But, this movie was GREAT!!

Not a movie, but a mini-series. Just finished HBO's John Adams. Very well done. I love historical portrayals.

I love that movie, a lot!
I also love the Seven Samurai which it is based on.
I'm going to watch both in one night with my son soon. Mag first and Samurai second.
