I’m enjoying this album more than I feel I should lol. Some cool riffs, good vocals from James, but… horrible vocals from Lou, super repetitive, and way too long.

The View is the one song I've actually listened to from that album, and the riff is pretty good... but ofc the table line ruins it and saves it at the same time lol

Anthrax - A.I.R.

It might be their best song; the vocals, riffs (especially the bridge riff), and everything else is top-notch here.

So looking forward to seeing them again next week
I went to an unusually large number of concerts last year
They got the crowd moving more than all the other bands

Lloydminster is one of the only cities/towns in Canada that sits smack dab on the border between two provinces. I live in Saskatchewan (a little town called Neilburg), about 15 minutes from the ab/sk border. Back in the day of expensive long distance calling, it would be costly to phone someone across main street seeing as you were both actually in different provinces and therefore in different area codes!

Truthfully, it was so long ago (Summer 1978?) that I barely remember anything other than driving across the plains with my cousin from the Sask/Manitoba border to Edmonton. Not even sure we made a full stop in Lloydminster. We did take in the Commonwealth Games from her high rise in Edmonton.

Motley Crue has a new 3 song EP called Cancelled



It's okay. Sad to say that the highlights are their newish guitarist John 5 replacing Mick Mars. Not even sure I would still call this once formidable metal band heavy. One of the three songs is a cover of the Beastie Boys. Now we have Sixx and 5, LOL

It's a live recording from their 1988 Mountain View performance. For those that don't know, Mountain View is the warmer part and the earthquake part of the California bay area. So wish I was there! Sad that I missed the 1977 (pre-plane crash) concert in Oakland as the car was full) but finally caught them last summer outside of Indy
