I know someone who would probably try to get cancer after hearing this...TZ75 wrote:Pethead wrote:QFT. What are your thought on medical marijuana? You know for cancer patients etc…

At least the medicine comes from a natural source. God made it. I’m not advocating recreational use.

One of the meds that’s been giving me so much trouble is an anti-anxiety medicine that I’ve been trying to wean off of. Those meds mess with you.

Indeed. People in severe chronic pain should seek relief. God knows their intentions.
Side effects from “normal” pharmacy pills alter the body too. The Bible speaks of drinking wine… but some folks can’t even handle one glass without a buzz.

I liked the brain challenge. But nowadays it's a chore because my intellegence level has dwaned heavily. I was basically a genius at 4... Although the song says nothing about accepting Christ as savior.

Like Realm, this band in its earliest days had Christian members who steered them away from being a Venom/Slayer-influenced band into an "anti-Evil" band warning against Hell.
There is a chasm of difference between this particular song and Overkill/Dream Theater/most every Christian-friendly song mentioned in that thread.
Are you still contending that Sin of Omission is "almost" a Christian song?

They're not thrash but they were a pretty cool band.
Yeah, I did pick up on some Christian themes but never read their lyrics too deeply.
New Renaissance really had some great bands. Shame it fizzled out.

The title “Sins of Omission” has religious connotations. The message is also not unlike a topic a Christian band has wrote about.
Still got a problem?
