Christian Thrash recommendations?
If anyone has any recommendations on Christian Thrash that sounds like Metallica(MOP/AJFA) I would appreciate it.
Here's all the Christian Thrash bands I know and love:
Ritual Servant
Tourniquet
Vengeance Rising(Personal fav)
Deliverance
The Crucified
Believer
Sacrament
Mad Dragzter
Bride(Live To Die and Silence Is Madness albums)
I've heard of and listened to Eternal Decision, they're not that good.
Anyways any recommendations I will check out and give you my thoughts, thanks!
P.S. If anyone has recommendations for a Christian band that sounds like Muse that would be awesome.

Adorned Graves! They do thrash mixed with doom mixed with traditional metal, sometimes in the same song, but I can’t recommend this band enough. They became a contender for my favorite band of all time with the release of their latest album (although their earlier stuff is more “pure” thrash)

I just listened to Pilgrim's Path, it's awesome. It sounds like Jack Black is singing, it's awesome.seth wrote:Adorned Graves! Re: Christian Thrash recommendations?
Some of my favorites are Valley of Achor, Effervescent Torrent, Lord of the Stone, and Primal Ocean. Another interesting thing is, especially on the latest album, the sounds all sound very different from each other (in part because they brought in a different vocalist for each song)Christian Thrash Lover wrote:I just listened to Pilgrim's Path, it's awesome. Angel of Sodom
Towne Cryer (thrown in for good measure since its very rare to have a female Thrash lead vocalist, and she is really good)

Antithesis’ debut shreds so hard it’s ridiculous.

If you like Metallica, check out Eternal Decision. They put out 3 albums and while some of the material is more groove metal, there's some good Metallica-inspired thrash on them as well.

It won't. I think Spotify is a rip off for artists.
We hope to have it on Bandcamp this year, Lord willing.

Never heard of Hades. Reminds me of early Deliverance but with Jimmy’s more aggressive moments on vocals. Wow! This is what the next D album should sound like. Speed/aggression and melody! Good stuff!

Yeah its an east coast thrash, I found them from a Scott Waters vid and after looking into them I saw they had a decent amount of Christian message.average joe wrote:Never heard of Hades. If you're talking about the NJ band, I think the only Christian message they have was with their first singer on their earliest recordings, which was not thrash, just heavy metal. Some of these songs ended up on their debut album. Beyond that, they have no Christian message at all. The first singer later was in the Christian band Rivera/Bomma. I've never seen any evidence that Alan Tecchio or Dan Lorenzo was a Christian and wanted to play Christian metal.
Re: Christian Thrash recommendations?
Yes, I tagged them as Christian Friendly based on 2 really good songs (The Cross and Widows Mite) and only listed that album. Other then that mainly political issues but nothing bad.Temple of Blood wrote:mothy wrote:Yeah its an east coast thrash, I found them from a Scott Waters vid and after looking into them I saw they had a decent amount of Christian message.average joe wrote:Never heard of Hades. Re: Christian Thrash recommendations?
Sounds like something from a Deliverance or Recon album!
The Cross
Night calls upon my betrayal
Morn sees me denied three times
Believe in God, believe also in me I am the way, the truth, and the Life The truth I leave within you
You Judas, hear your fate and then carry it out Once Satan's entered you, you'll turn right about And Peter give your life up, or so you say Instead your knowledge of me shall be erased They take me away, to cast me from the world
My love won't die
Father forgive them, for they know not what they do I have been judged to die upon the cross These thorns released my earthly blood
Still hold your faith, aside from what you see Bearing my cross, bearing all your sin Oh, Golgotha, to the place of the skull
You sheep within my flock hear the truth of my life
The nails deep in my flesh, the pierce of the knife Though evil strung me up and started time anew
Know that my life was given up for you
Open your hearts, I'll flow within
The Cross

Morn sees me denied three times
