Re: Recently Watched Movies
The Social Dilemma on Netflix. It's a docudrama, so it mixes real people talking about the influence of social media on society, with actors showing the results. A pretty interesting and eye opening movie. A lot of it I knew already from reading stories online over the years. I don't think I agree with all it says, and I'd like to know who was behind it.

I really enjoyed the remake of The Italian Job
For those that like Oceans 11, Mission Impossible James Bond, etc.

Have you seen the Michael Caine version? It's been a loooong time since I've seen either, but I remember liking the old one better.
(On a side-note, there was a Playstation [1] game based on the Michael Caine movie which was a lot of fun too.)

What'd you think of it? After all the glowing reviews, I was a bit disappointed by the time I watched it. I dunno, it seemed pretty derivative and generic to me. Plus all the racism stuff was a bit heavy-handed for my tastes, but I guess that was the point.

Over the last few days or so.
I've rewatched the dark knight trilogy, watched the original teenage mutant ninja turtles movies from the 90s which I hadn't watched since I was a kid, an at the moment I'm rewatching the *The hills have eyes* 2006 remake.

Maybe I'll have to check this one out. I thought it looked decent from the trailers, though I'm not the biggest Christopher Nolan fan.

How was re-watching the Dark Night flicks? I enjoyed the first two enough, though when I re-watched the first one, I didn't care for it at all. I tried so hard to be dark and brooding or whatever, but just came off as super cheesy (but not in a good way). I've only seen the second two once-each. The Dark Night was decent though way too long and the third one was just silly.
Oh man, I haven't seen those TMNT movies since I was a kid either! How did they age in your opinion?
I felt the need to take a shower after seeing the 2006 The Hills Have Eyes because of how gruesome/twisted it was, though it was pretty well done IMO.

I recently rewatched all his Dirty Harry movies myself, which I hadn't seen since I was a kid.
Great stuff.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
At the moment I'm watching the Die Hard movies. I make it a Christmas ritual to rewatch the first 2 at least every Christmas holiday( I watch them and the other die hards frequently through each year though, they're just that great!)...as well I have to get around to rewatching Bill Murrays *Scrooged* again and *Gremlins* which I also ritual watch every Christmas holiday, oh...and the lethal weapons...or at least the first(being a Christmas movie too) and Harold and Kumars Christmas movie.

WW84. It's not as bad as a lot of people make it, but it's not that great.
Re: Recently Watched Movies
I recently watched *1984*(the 1984 year version)...
Not as good as the book of course, not a very eventful movie, kinda drab, yet still good and very terrifying and relevant to what's happening in the world right now....where its headed if the anti-NWO counter conspiracy doesn't achieve victory soon.

Been re-watching the Die Hard series the last several days in chronological order. Up to the last one part 5 *A good day to die hard* today. Best action series in history!

Freejack. Kind of dated (it takes place in the future of 2009,,the film came out in 1992) and cheesy, but it held my attention at least.

Just watched Soul on Disney+, really liked it but I think a lot of evangelical Christians will have obvious issues with this movie.
Also finally got around to WW84. Didn't like it at all, I thought the first one was pretty good, this one? Eh, just so much wrong with it starting with it being WAAAAY too long.

Mrs Staybrite and I just watched Sweet Home Alabama back in November (a few days after we had dinner with you actually). It was on whatever premium channel the hotel had (HBO or Showtime) I hadn't seen it in years, it's like a fun Southern Hallmark Movie...only better.
