Edward Scissorhands (1990)
A very unique love story/bedtime story

^That was a childhood favorite of mine. I re-watched it a few years ago and still really enjoyed it.

I probably haven't seen that one in over 20 years myself.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
^ A good yet eccentric movie for sure. I re-watched it because I wanted my daughter to see what I consider now a great classic.
I am currently watching
Diary Of A Madman 1963 (Vincent Price)
It can be viewed for free online

High Plains Drifter
Two Mules For Sister Sara
Both pretty solid Eastwood flicks, Two Mules was a good offbeat western and had great acting between the leads, but High Plains Drifter is definitely a classic, in a league of its own.
I have now almost seen all of Eastwood's westerns and High Plains is for sure near the top of the pile

Re: Recently Watched Movies
The quest continues. The fun part of this, is that you get to watch many movies you would probably never choose otherwise. Last week I watched Lagaan, a movie I definitely never would have chosen to watch. But since it's on that list, I "had to". And I enjoyed it, I can sort of understand why it's on that list. But was it a masterpiece? Not in my book. Next up will be The Joker, which I definitely would have chosen to watch even outside of the list. But I missed it when it was in theaters, and I just haven't got round to watching it yet.HenrikB wrote:A few years ago, I decided that I wanted to see as many as possible of the Top Rated 250 on IMDB.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Havent seen it yet, but has anyone seen the new Bill and Ted movie? It's not playing at my local theater, and I dont know if it's worth paying 25 bucks to download it.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Finally got around to watching Glass. Not as bad as reviews would seem to indicate and made perfect sense as part of the trilogy.

^ I loved the trilogy
If you liked the animated MULAN, then you love the live action MULAN

Re: Recently Watched Movies
You going to watch Silent Rage too? It's basically Chuck vs. an unkillable Michael Meyers type. Crosses the slasher/sci-fi/chuck-chop-socky genres.BaleMaster wrote:Breaker Breaker.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
^I remember seeing An Eye For An Eye a long time ago. Disturbing movie... but pretty well done as I recall.
Moon is great. I'm glad I didn't know much about it going into it so the twist was quite the surprise to me.
I saw Pandorum in theaters when it came out. Not the most creative movie, but it was enjoyable for what it is.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I should have clarified that AEFAE is the Chuck Norris flick, not the Sean Penn one.
