Re: Recently Watched Movies
Currently in the middle of watching *The Dirt* biopic on Motley Crue on netflix
Actually quite entertaining and very amusing.
Particularly loving Mick Mars, if the actor portrayal is anything close to what Mick is like(or was when younger) in real life....he's my new favorite Crue member(used to be Vince).

Mrs Staybrite and I just watched Sweet Home Alabama back in November (a few days after we had dinner with you actually). It was on whatever premium channel the hotel had (HBO or Showtime) I hadn't seen it in years, it's like a fun Southern Hallmark Movie...only better.
That's actually a pretty good summation!
My wife loves this movie for the romance story. I like it because it did a good job of capturing life in a sleepy southern town. Time moves a little slower for us and we like it that way. It is fun to run into the city for some "culture", but I will always prefer a more simplistic life where I know my neighbors and even their dog's names, can forget to lock my door without fear of waking up dead, seeing cattle in the fields, listening to stories of what redneck kids do for fun, etc. I can't imagine trying to live in the city where folks are all crowded up and folks never seem to be content to be right where they are.

^Oh dang, I remember seeing that one in theaters as a kid! I don't remember particularly loving it, though it was so long ago that I don't remember much of it at all haha.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Scream 4 was great. How'd you like it? Supposedly they're working on #5 though without Wes Craven (or Kevin Williamson I think...), I'm not sure how good it's gonna be. I regrettably watched the [first two seasons of the] TV show which was awful. It was basically how I imagine The O.C. but with a killer running amuck. I lost numerous brain cells watching it.

Loved the quadrilogy. Just heard about part five. I'm optimistic they will get it right. Avoided the series, which sounded hokey.

Right on. It sounds like #5 has at least some of the [surviving, haha] original cast and I think they picked a director with a decent track record but I don't remember who right now... I'll give it a shot for sure.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
A couple days ago, I watched this rather interesting documentary on Amazon Prime called "Beware of Angels" (2016). It was about 2 ladies in the 80s that ended up killing a family at a Bible study (including shooting a kid in the face) because "angels" told them too.
Turns out, these lady's "Bible Studies" were more like "seances", and they wrote down a lot of stuff involving encounters and interactions with (supposedly) Jesus and Angels. (and the scripture answers they got were eerily twisted)
The documentary branched out from those murders, to other Christians being "tricked" by New Age, Occultic, etc. beliefs and practices, some of which were snuck into the church's side door. ie: testimony from this one pastor who was tricked into teaching transcendental meditation to people in church
