Temple of Blood - Overlord (REMASTERED and greatly improved!) thrash/power/speed metal

We've recently had our second album remastered by Jamie King (Watchtower, Chastain, Canvas Solaris, Ayreon, etc. etc.)

I can't believe the difference this mastering has made!

The songs "pop" much more.  I am far from an expert on this stuff but to my ears it sounds like the mid-range has been restored and the vocals are clearer.

Great news! Love the album but I can see it needing this in the thrash genre. It never felt as aggressive as it should because of the production.

The biggest complaint I got was about the vocal mix. I think that's definitely improved. Is it more aggressive? I don't know, but to me it's more enjoyable. I'm not really trying to compete with Sodom or Destruction here.

That's great to hear!!  I'd love to hear these songs as well... I have two copies of Overlord but would love to hear it more "properly" mastered...

Sounds fantastic! I dig the discernible vocals in speed/thrash metal a lot, especially when there is a thoughtful message to be shared, but, man, the future begs for some well-timed grit (i.e., lower register growling/screaming) to compliment the speed and aggression of the music! Would have something very special at that point. Hopefully, the future material adds this important piece. Nice job on the remaster! I want to pick up a copy because production is also very important and this remaster really improved the overall sound big time!

I never bought the cd because the original vocal mix was so buried I had a job to hear a word.  Just heard the remastered version, WOW!  Will buy this, is it coming out on cd though?

I am talking to a label about putting it out.  If that doesn't work I may just release it myself. 

Either way, it needs to come out on cd imho.

The holidays were a roadblock to getting anything done.   Resuming now.  We still have a lot of work to do.
