Kurt was a walking deliberate contradiction and a very complex person.

I believe Phil is way more sensitive than he leads us to believe. "Often" the ones with a tough exterior are the most sensitive people around and the hard guy act is like an armor of protection, usually that stems from some kind of hurt.

Phil's a big teddy bear. He's done some dumb stuff but he's entertaining and very funny.

Yeah I think one has to be sensitive to be able to write poetry which song lyrics are. A lot of Pantera lyrics might be macho stuff, but they are very introspective in nature and often talk about very sensitive issues.

Performing bands are musical theater in way, so it's only fitting that there is a need for exaggerated characters on that stage.

Flick of the Switch is one of the best AC/DC albums.

Manowar is mostly terrible.

Rubber Soul is the best Beatles album. Sgt. Pepper is one of the weaker Beatles albums.

Hansi Kürsch’s voice is kinda grating. Blind Guardian still rules, though.

Damned If You Do is the second best Metal Church album, after Blessing in Disguise.

Melodic death metal usually sucks and sounds like third rate Maiden with growled vocals. The new Eternal Storm is a welcome exception.

Hanging in the Balance and Human Factor are the best MC albums imo.
Hansi has a fine voice, you're crazy.

Although often rated as their worst album I think Flick is a good album, but the best... guess that comes to personal taste

Manowar...oh man how can anyone on this damnable earth take that band seriously. Give me Stryper anyday!

Rubber Soul is fantastic and thta album, along with help, were the first Beatles albums I heard thanks to my mother's record collection. I listened to those for hours along with Puff the magic dragon! It is the album that suggested the new trippy direction they were going, but it was Revolver that fully introduced it. I don't know which is my favorite beatles album but saying sgt peppers is weak...Wow...

Those are my least favorite Howe albums, but I still like them. Metal Church rules.

“Weak” is relative. A weaker Beatles album is still pretty dang good.

Yeah, Manowar up to Sign of the Hammer is amazing. Manowar up to The Triumph of Steel is from pretty good to great.

I enjoy some of Louder than Hell too but most of what came afterwards is pretty bad, with a couple of good songs here and there.

Hmm..

The album that spearheaded an entire movement of music? Or an album tried to sell units and follow every trite 80's trend?  I'll probably go with the former... even though I was at the perfect age for Turbo and bought it as soon as it came out then played it to death.

ZZ Top did Turbo better… it was called Eliminator!  Smile

I think Tipton even admitted they were influenced by it.

I even like Point of Entry better than Turbo.

Some great songs: Heading Out to the Highway, Desert Plains, Hot Rockin’ and Solar Angels.
