I’m not sure, but it’s one of those songs that people think has a deeper meaning.

This I agree with 1000%. I don't know why anyone would watch or listen or be around something that is actively insulting or abusing or mocking something you love or care about, family, the Lord, or anything or any beliefs you hold dear.
