Re: Deliverance crowdfunding old-school thrash album
Unfortunately, it seems like it isn't generating too much buzz. Only 34% funded by 104 backers. I saw the last Tourniquet album and it looks like they have easily reached their goal with more than 400 backers. And I always thought Deliverance had a bigger audience.

Over the years Deliverance has changed their styles and have been hit or miss when it comes to albums. Tourniquet has at least been keep pretty consistent and a steady flow of albums over the years, so that might be why there is a difference.

January is always a tighter month for me than any other month of the year so I'll be backing this in February. Perhaps others are in the same boat.

I love D and I can't wait for some Thrash...
question about the campaign...
does anybody else see $45 as steep for vinyl? I see $30 as steep to pay for some wax...but man I want to get it...

If it is a double vinyl, it would make sense but still be a little pricey. If it is a single vinyl, then yes it is steep compared to other comparable projects.

I agree with bodachi. That art is disgusting. I won't spend my resources on something with that. I seriously hope that's not the album art.

Things can be metal without being disgusting. We're still Christians.

Re: Deliverance crowdfunding old-school thrash album
I didn't like the art, as well. I am still getting a t-shirt anyway.
If they could, at least, take the horn (??) out of the art and give a better shape to the skulls, it would be so much better.
BTW, as people are mentioning other bands artcover, what is that in the Antisept Bloodbath album by Tourniquet? I had to take my scissors and cut the cover art off

Very D-like thrash cover...
The artwork was created by Sergio Cariello, known as one of the most talented names of comics, including some works in Marvel Comics and DC Comics.

I think its a pretty awesome design, Im glad it wasnt something corny
Im confused on why this shirt is "gross" and "disgusting"
I dont think this is that graphic of art at all
