I'm impressed that there are still existing those forums in year 2024...

I'm Aldi, I'm from Costa Rica, 53, but I guess my mind is still in the 20's... LOL

I'm into books, mostly of Theology, Philosophy, History, and General Literature, especially going deeper into Asian ones. 

I love Asian movies, and sorry but I'm a Hollywood hater, Western music hater (mostly secular and liberal christian music)  I prefer more the Christian music especially Heavy Metal and the Japanese Pop music (I consider myself as a guy with that "dark side".

Not sure what else to write but, glad to see there are another place to be in, because I don't use Facebook since there are so many unworthy people and I prefer to avoid. Hope to enjoy and get along with all of you, guys !!!

Not sure if anybody here remember me, or even knew me back then.  Left the scene in 2015 when I went back to college. I am now back with Dukester Podcast Family where I compile playlists of all types of music on Spotify as long as the bands are not on a major label. my fav genre is preachcore, holy name, sleeping giant, for today, fit for a king, and i like alot of the old school type. 
Was born into a Quaker faith and later on bacame a baptist. 
Ima a VPS, vat pasteurization specialist and i also work with groundwire ministries as a 24 hr crisis counsler. 
My dream is to run a christian heavy metal club and have chapters in every state trying to bring Jesus to those who need him the most.

Hi, my name is Ken and my username is Ammocas. I am 51 years old and I am a Christian since I’m 10 years old. 

 Growing up I was introduced to Resurrection band, Servant and Jerusalem from a friend in church around 1979 or 1980. From there I found bands like Barnabas, Petra, Saint, Bride, Tourniquet and many others.

 I love going to concerts and of course listening to all types of Metal.My favorites are Classic, 80’s, thrash, melodic, and power metal. Recently, I’ve been listening to Theocracy, N.O.G., Ritual Servant, Bloodgood, Bride and a slew of recent releases.

Currently, I’ve rediscovered my old Christian vinyl collection...cleaned ‘em up and started listening to them. I also have started adding to it with new music and reissues put out by ROXX and Boone’s and Girder music. There is definitely a warmth and fuller sound with vinyl...although my collection is basically cd’s with a few mp3 files.

So cool seeing intros like this to now big-time members lol

Greetings to one and all from Switzerland!

I've grown up listening to Christian metal (or white metal as it was called then) in the early 90s, first with Petra, Stryper, Holy Soldier etc. and then moved on to the likes of Believer, Vengeance, Deliverance, the Crucified and Tourniquet (Stop the Bleeding literally blew my mind).

In the mid nineties I moved away from the Christian scene and only returned in 2017 when I figured out it was important to what music I inflicted myself.

It was like coming home and I liked rediscovering my old favorites but was also super stoked to find out quite a lot of those bands are still active and issuing great music, e.g. Stryper and Tourniquet.

Searching for new inspiration I stumbled across these forums and have been lurking for a bit. I figured I might as well join... if you agree to have me, of course

Music I like and a bit of story: I grew up in an Industrial environment, which is mostly antichrist and antimusical but I don't see it and never followed those who prone those religious ideas, since Industrial is very varied there are a lot of different religious and political artists visions there. I then started piano and still continue while having a double life between those two genres, I decided to create my project Ordo ab Chao to make a point on what I should like between both, make a decision, and it ended up "Christian" or "White" Industrial, which is a non existant genre, at least yet... I was while learning the piano with Brahms, Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninov mostly, reading Nietzsche's work, listened to his musical work too. I'm basically not a pure Metal person, I like related to Industrial music like bands as The Eden House, And One, Ashbury Heights, Client, Dune Messiah, DAF; and a bit of Far eastern to Eastern Pop/Dance. I still listen a bit to Industrial mainly Coph Nia

I was born in a Christian family, later on I knew my dad is related to Maronite Christians, which I'll join a church soon.

I'm a student in a Conservatory Of Music mainly for piano and maybe for singing. As I've been categorized as disabled I have the right to work in an adapted center, that I'll get a reply from soon, to take computer cursus and I'll try to get the diploma of Technician Superior System and Network.

I learned the existance of Christian Metal last year but it didn't picked my attention until lastly after having some visions and decided to join a church, I also had a recent acquaintance who was a strict christian and told me she grew up listening White/Christian Metal, so I look it up.

I think I said enough.
