I am Steven Cressler. I'm 14, and have been listening to Christian metal for about six years I think? I'm an amatuer film/showmaker trying to start music too.

You have those fiery icons on top left of the page that say „new topic“ and „add reply“, they are not obvious. You also have an empty text editor all the way down for quick replies without quote to the topic you‘re currently browsing. You really 14? Must be the youngest cat round here then, welcome bro, good to have young blood!

Hello all, I have newly been called back to Christ and put back on the path after about 9 years of running in the opposite direction. I’m also fairly new to “forums” so apologies if I post things in the wrong spot or something like that.

I guess I should introduce myself. I am Seth Dusith, and I have recently decided to stop listening to secular music, and stop watching secular media, as much as I can help it. I been looking for more Christain metal bands, particularly ones who have notable bass in the mix, but anything is good. Anything to inspire me

I am a musician. I play Bass and Guitar, but I consider myself primarily a bassist. Most of my gear is bass related. I am not sure what my music style would be considered. Nu-Metal/Death Metal maybe. Hard to say with the way people like to genre things

I'm John, I release music under "kpec3 arrival", 5 albums and lots of singles and EPs. There seems to be a small number of regular listeners, after ~5 years. Some of the songs are fairly heavy, some more like rock, and some are more like reggae/ska/edm/pop. As a Christian, I was saved right after my degree from a liberal arts school in '97. I wanted to be a musician for a career, but it was always impossible! Finally, after I moved back to my hometown, I just decided to work solo and I played a lot of open stages. You'd be surprised how open people are to Christian music. Only once did an atheist ask me that overcooked question, "Where did God come from?" I said, "By definition, the concept of God doesn't require a beginning that a human could understand." Anyway, please hmu if I can do anything for you.

Hi! I'm back for a bit. I just got overwhelmed with all the busy-ness of the kids' school and the Christmas activities and pulled back from social media for a bit. I'm gonna try and make a slooowwww comeback, especially b/c the CMR is one of my favourite places to chat and visit.

On a positive note, God's given me a bit of a boost with my resolve and focus, both for music and life. I've decided to start working on my sophomore album instead of just sitting in front of the TV all the time. So I've been playing guitar almost evey day, started programming drums in REAPER, and been writing & arranging in my head all throughout the days and nights! It's very therapeutic and spiritually enriching. I expect it will take 5-10 years at the pace I go, so I don't expect to get bored anytime soon.

sevenoneself - The Treasure of the Crucible

It's completely home-made, but in the end I was pleased enough with the quality that I paid the money to put it on the streaming platforms.
