Back in the 80s and 90s I used to make mix tapes from vinyl (still do every once in a while Twisted Evil

)...Now I make mix cd's...I recently made a whole series of cd's...I started with 1978 and ran through 1986 with each cd having music from the designated cd year only on it...was listening to 1984 and 85 last night ..really awesome and alot of good metal tunes...

So I've spent most of the day listening to Crimson Moonlight, Elgibbor, Pantokrator, Vaakevandring, Frosthadr...ya know a bunch of Swedish and Norwegian black metal bands. Then the phone rang and I heard a way-too-chipper voice congratulating me from Norwegian Cruise Lines. Coincidence? Yeah, probably. But just in case, I think I'm going to spend the next three hours listening to Calloway's "I Wanna Be Rich."

I think the worst part of having a cold is how it affects one's voice. Not only does my voice now sound incredibly scratchy and nasal, but i cant even sing along to my favorite songs.

Oklahoma has to be the most moronic state in the union... They just consistently pass laws that are in conflict with the federal laws (and many laws that the supreme court already ruled on) knowing they will be challenged in court (and knowing they will lose in court) spending up all of our tax money while the state is in a 1.9 billion dollar shortfall crisis...People are losing their jobs here by the hundreds and our state has cut millions out of everybody's budget...Some of our schools are going to 4 day weeks because they dont have the money for the 5th day and they are starting to charge family's for things like riding the bus...And now teachers have to pay for everything in their classroom... And the kicker is...they do it all in the name of Jesus Shocked
