I did my taxes last night. That feels good to have that done! And I'm getting a sizable return which is nice! (I know, I know, that means I've just allowed the government to invest MY money which is not ideal... but it sure feels like a Christmas bonus or something haha!)

What is going on with the Republican Party? This is like watching a movie (comedy)!
Trump is taking over - and they are trying to stop it ... but they can't! LOL! I love it!

Last night all I heard was if Trump Gets the nomination it will split the Republican party...Those old school republicans just dont get it...Their brand of conservatism is over!!!

Re: Random thoughts...
Traditional conservatism is still very much alive. Its presence may be waning, but it'll never disappear.

I'm getting a decent return as well, surprisingly since the last two years I did taxes, I had to PAY.
Doing them for last year was very easy. Next year will be a cluster since I have to report all my medical expenses and my wife's inheritance from when her grandpa passed away.

Exactly. Each year more and more old people die - and the extreme conservative party gets smaller and smaller.
What is going on now is a natural progression ... evolution if you will ... of the Republican party in general. The younger Republicans are not as 'prude, ultra conservative' as their parents and grandparents were, but they are staying in the Republican party because they don't want to become Democrats. What you get is a more liberal - or moderate Republican. They are taking over the party!!! And Trump perfectly represents them! This has become a whole new movement literally!!!
I know some don't like that happening - but I think it's a healthy take-over. The stiffs need to be out numbered.

Yeah. I saw that. They said that on the debate last night. I thought that was cool. A slap in Romney's face to be sure.

Romney needs a good slappin' after what he did to Trump! It's backfiring like crazy though!!! LOL!

Re: Random thoughts...
I never minded moving. ...but then again, lifting at the gym all the time made carrying furniture easier. Hardest thing I remember carrying my last move, and this is my own fault - a 10 gallon aquarium that was still half full of water.
I should have drained more water out. That was way too heavy.

Had to go to the doctor yesterday as a walk in, for something unrelated to my cancer. A few days ago, I thought I got bit by a mosquito on my right wrist. Had 2 ichy bumps that I woke up with, thought it would go away after a while - like a mosquito bite. A day later, that itchy bump looked more like poison ivy. (like a bigger mound with little bumps). Then that mound went from the size of a quarter to the size of a baseball and started hurting along with the itching.
Right - time to go to the doctor.
Apparently they're spider bites and they showed signs of infection? I've never been bitten by a spider before apparently.
I've always liked spiders. Every place I've owned, I always let spiders roam free because its cheap pest control. (aka I'd much rather have 10 spiders in the house than 193,572,472,277 ants.) My wife and I have a compromise that any spider larger than a quarter has to leave. (where I catch it, by hand, and let it outside)
Anyway, hydrocortizone cream, antihistamines and an antibiotic for the infection is what I was prescribed.
I am in Brown Recluse territory. I shouldn't let those spiders stay since they're so dangerous, but again - years of leaving them be, I never had an issue.
Man, I love those HUGE wolf spiders. They're pretty awesome, even though they scare my wife.
At least we both like the cute little jumping spiders. (they look like fat little baby tarantulas, only the size of a dime)
