Sorry bro, that thomas@thefieldofkings.com isn't valid anymore and hasn't been in years. I've tried to change it multiple times, but all I get is this "Sorry, but this e-mail address is invalid." error message.

Well, high school football season is over for me this year. Maybe I can get my weekends back. All I have to do now is two months worth of "honey do's".

I just read through some of the threads a couple of days ago and i'm not sure how I should respond to some of this stuff. Or even if I should. Because I'm sure I am one of the people that some have issues with. All I can say is that I never intended to offend anyone on a personal level. But at the same time I don't feel that there was anything wrong with what I posted either.

....I guess i'm on eggshells around here right now.

The beliefs here vary, just like personalities. Some things need to be said the right way and in some instances, not said at all.

Anyone can expect problems when they encroach their views upon others, even if those views are brought forth as genuine help, or belligerent contempt for someone's preacher.

You aren't on eggshells here, nor am I. None of us sought to offend and nothing we said should have been taken a offensive under normal circumstances. But, when you consider his family situation, you can understand why he would be so sensitive.

OK. So now that we've initiated dialog. You are totally wrong about me, my motivations, and my means. Please take that into consideration as you are fighting the wrong battle. I don't go about following anyone to undermine them. Have I done that to you? Who else? No, nobody. I agree where I agree and disagree where I disagree with no partiality. If you think you see a pattern, take into consideration that it isn't any personal bias on my part, but perhaps just the phenomena that those who make points I disagree with may likely make many points I tend to disagree with. Don't worry, I forgive you. It's an easy mistake. I understand as I'm fairly cynical too. I might have been inclined to see me as you have. But now that I'm calling this out, it's time for you to put the down the sword. OK?

Good grief!  You are the one who brought up the idea that these roving bands of meanies go from thread to thread picking fights with people, yet I've gone to at least three, maybe four different threads today in which YOU were dragging up the same ol', same ol' about how horrible it is here.  Look, I know you have had some rough spots recently, but that is all the more reason you just need to not let the perceived negative stuff that goes on here get to you--just let it go and move on!

Kerrick/Karam/Exo--I know.  Self-imposed exile coming up.

Thomas--I will feel bad about how I said this tomorrow, so I am going to apologize in advance rather than wait until I return in December.
