General consensus seems to be tha as long as you aren't an "Ibanez neck only" type of guy, they're perfectly fine. Sometimes the guys that have said affliction will knock 'em for having "baseball bat" neck syndrome, but really, it's just that they're not wafer thin.....they should also be REALLy easy to check out if you've got even a semi-decent music store within driving range.....

I don't mind Ibanez thin necks, don't think I'll have too much issue with a thin or thick coming from playing on a p-bass neck. They are thick.

I played in worship band with a guy that had a Schecter Hellraiser, nice guitar, well built, the only problem he had was that the super hot EMG pickups were'nt ideal for the type of music we were doing.

True, well I have EMGs in one of my basses, kinda curious to how it would sound playing in church.

Agreed, but I like the EMGs for some reason.

sigh... thinking about just going for a jackson dinky js32r since I'm new and I can always swap out the pickups

Do you know whaty sort of pickup arrangement you're looking for? the JS32 is HH, but there's also a JS22 that is HSS, and runs about a hundred cheaper, FYI

Oh... yeah I prefer humbuckers definately
