Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian: that voice, just a classic.

Death - Spiritual Healing: This reminds me of how when Bolt Thrower slowed down for War Master their best qualities were really emphasized. For me this is the first great Death album.

Death - Individual Thought Patterns: Sounds complex, does not flow as well as their other albums but there is some satisfaction in complex music. Still a gem.

Atheist - Elements: pretty varied, may be my favorite from these guys.

Hey Steven, I listened to Leprosy yesterday and it is very good but I got to stick to my guns here. Spiritual Healing is where I think their sound is fully formed.

I rarely listen to individual songs. I like to listen to an album in it's entirety. If you get a chance to listen to these back to back let me know what you think.

I thought Hammer of Dawn was good, AtF was a step down but mostly I listen to the first five albums by them.

Yeah, I think I liked HoD more. This one is lacking in the songwriting, especially with respect to hooks.
