Addressing seth formally vs personally means not capitalizing his name vs capitalizing it

I got one of the MacArthur study bibles a few years ago for Christmas, it was great! (it was even the one I had asked for which is a bonus)

For almost every English verb that ends with -ise, the American spelling is -ize, and the only exception I can think of right now is advertise. And I wonder why we didn't change that one.

Edit: I guess rise and despise are two more.

That brings up another interesting question - what exactly was the Leviathan? I have always assumed some kind of aquatic dinosaur, as it is not described as a fish specifically in the book of Job

In my dissertation on Job, I tentatively went with the crocodile, albeit one that has mythopoetic language attached to it. But that was strictly in the YHWH speeches, not necessarily covering every instance of Leviathan in scripture.

A mythical monster of chaos, the ultimate devouring and destroying monster, closely tied up with death itself.

According to Psalm 103 (104 in Masoretic), Leviathan, for all its power, is Yahweh's pet.

While Leviathan is a bit more ambiguous, Behemoth (described in Job) is clearly a dinosaur. No extant animal is that large and has a tail that could be compared to a cedar tree.
The evolutionary model (which states all these creatures died long before humans ever existed) is merely the atheist’s creation myth, there is no need for Christians to give it any credence.

I wouldn't dub Leviathan as mythical.  Ancient Near East cosmology treats L as quite real.
