A frozen whole-chicken was too large to fit into the Instant Pot last night so I used my Hackzall to cut its legs down haha. It worked great. Nothing like using power tools in the kitchen! What a Face

Happy birthday to your son!

Our kiddos are doing well. Our oldest (5) has the flu but is recovering. Our youngest (10 months) is as adorable as ever and brightens all of our days consistently. sunny

She learned how to wave recently which is pretty dang cute.

Great to hear, both of you! Oh, I'm so excited for you.

Are both moms able to keep up with all the demands, or is there still overwhelming tiredness happening?

We have a family in our church with 3 girls (kindergarten - grade 5 age) who just had a surprise baby this year. They love children and love her, but the mom is in her 3rd month of post-partum depression and they're really struggling. It hurts to watch her go through that.

Oh the exhaustion is definitely there! Our middle (3) daughter has looooooots of "big feelings" right now which certainly wears on our patience. Lots of bickering between her and our oldest too. Our youngest sleeps pretty well but is still up at night to nurse and sometimes stays awake for a bit. But we know that this is just a phase and will pass before we know it. We are trying to raise our kids up in the Word and to help them channel their feelings and emotions properly, etc. No easy task for sure, but overall they're pretty good kids and are learning. Smile

I'm so encouraged by both of you and your families. I pray for God's continued blessing on you, your jobs, your marriage and your parenting and kids. If you care to, pass this on to your wives. Life can be really busy and hard and spiritual encouragement has really helped me to get through tough spots, and it will for you guys as well.

My brother's 13 months and he recently learned how to hi-five. Bonus is whenever he does it it makes him laugh hysterically, and there's nothing better than a laughing baby.
