Re: Unorthodox Christian Metal Opinions
My unorthodox opinion is:
Tourniquet - Microscopic View is my 2nd favourite album of theirs behind Stop the Bleeding.
I do like Pyschosurgery and Pathogenic, but I always seem to reach for Microscopic when I want to listen to something fun and thrashy and just overall enjoy it's more straight forward approach above those 2 albums. Stop the Bleeding is insanely good and still my favourite from TqT.
Deliverence - What a Joke? is my favourite Deliverence album. Outside of the first 3 albums, I don't really like or listen to much of their catalog. Even some of the "joke" songs on What a Joke? have some great chunky headbanging riffs. Weapons is a close 2nd and then the self-titled for me.

I can see that. MVOATR is definitely one of their best albums. Top 3 for me for sure.

One thing I will say for What a Joke is that the drumming is top-notch, for the secular of Christian scene. The previous drummer was definitely good but this drumming was on another level. Shame he never played more thrash than this.

Bumping this old thread because I thought of another one:
Theocracy: As the World Bleeds is a great album. But it’s easily weaker than Mirror of Souls and Ghost Ship.

My 2 cents to this thread...
Release Upon The Earth is a better album than Once Dead.
Yeah, I like Warfare, Can't Get Out and other tunes but in general, this record don't fit well in my taste, it's just an "ok album"
