Most 'Christian' song from a SECULAR metal or hard rock artist or band

Interesting lyrics from Danish death/doom band Saturnus. Does anyone know anything about them?

Yeah those lyrics are... interesting for sure.  I did find this interview that sheds some light on it:

– Our readers are interested in that old story concerning your gig in a church. Tell us about it in details, please.

– The church we were playing in is really like a Free Church where you are allowed to do much more things than in a common church. It is a Christian church – no doubt about that – and the priest there is maybe a little crazy but in a good way.

R.S.: – It is really an open minded church and they allow many happenings there. They try to open the church for new ways, maybe.

T.J.: – It was The Good Friday and the priest needs artists who “can bring death and destruction into the church to get the atmosphere of crucifixion of Christ”. So our friend says: “I know a perfect band with a lot of emotion, it is brutal, and you can call that death and destruction but in an emotional and beautiful way”. He invites us and we do something together. But then it was a controversy in Denmark because all the bishops there start to grudge: “we can not have a heavy metal band in a church singing “Christ, good bye”… We have to sign a paper where we have stated that we are not going to preach satanic word. We explained that ‘Christ, Good Bye’ is a song about the destruction of the world and they accepted it. But there were a demonstration and really zealous Christian believers tried to ban the show. It was a subject of much controversy on the fan-pages and in the news on television and in the newspapers. And maybe that’s why the attention for the show went that big.

Interesting. Would like to know more about their beliefs.

^Me too.  What piqued my interest was this post from Prophecy Productions.  It's quite uncommon to see a message of hope from a secular doom/death band.

I can't find it anymore, but one of their members confirmed their first vocalist (Kristoff Gabehart) was a Christian. Metal Archives tells us he wrote the lyrics to "Transcending Sentinels" and "Where Angels Dare to Tread". These two would then be totally Christian songs, albeit being performed by secularists, alongside several other songs on the album which are entirely secular. ("Opaque Divinity" was apparently not written by him.)

Creeping Death, Leper Messiah, Holier Than Thou, Lux AEterna. I just named 4 amazing Metallica songs that are basically Christian and could list more that at least have a good message(MOP is an example). There's also, like, every Switchfoot song. They claim that they are not a Christian band but a band with Christians. And Shadow Of Deth by Megadeth is just a Psalm, word for word.

I dont really see a Christian message in Holier Than Thou. It's more about people who just "point fingers" at others.

Ok, not even close to metal or even hard rock, but while going through the discography of The Police, I discovered this song from the Ghost in the Machine album:

Take A Bow - Muse. It's not really Christian sounding but I love to think that I'm singing it at Satan, my dad showed me that the lyrics are like that. Another one is Scene 8: The Spirit Carries On - Dream Theater.

I def see a Christian message in Holier Than Thou. Also I don't care  what Switchfoot says, their a Christian band. For SOD, I think it's because Dave is Christian since '02.
