I came across this today. It’s a one man band. He’s from Ireland. His music is totally different from anything I’ve ever heard. It runs the gamut from metal to folk to techno. I’m still not sure if I like it or not. It’s just so different! My son loved it immediately. 

Anyone familiar with this? I listened to his top 5 songs on Spotify and they were all different styles, though heavy guitars were prevalent in most of them. But the #1 track - Wake the White Wolf - is not metal at all. Yet I love it!

The style is called Dark Folk and to me, it sounds like songs for movies like The Hobbit.
