Take it from papa power metal, Innerwish and Within Silence are not similar sounding. Innerwish plays the more mid tempo Hammerfall kind of metal (I'd say German and mid 90s Swedish power metal), while Within Silence is more like Sonata Arctica (albeit less complex) and Stratovarius, so a more Finnish sound.

Gotcha.  I think they were recommended due to their ultra-melodic-ness. 

Power metal is an unbelievably diverse sub genre of metal! Pretty surprising, considering its low tendency (and demand) for genre development.

I'd say it's my favourite album, and I'm really glad I finally have it in good audio quality, since BG production has been really really bad, at least until 2006.
