NEW MEGADETH IT'S HERE!

I have tried and tried to get into Dystopia (Megadeth), but I just can't. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad album. There's just nothing memorable about it. I listen to it, and when it's over, I don't remember a single song. Maybe I'm just too hook-oriented; this album doesn't have many hooks at all. I'm glad others like it and I wish the band well with it, but it's just not my thing.

Thats how I felt about Endgame

I like Endgame far more than Dystopia still. Just about every song from Endgame sticks with me. I don't know what it is about that album...I just love it.

Aaron, do you have "Dystopia" yet? How do you like it?

So far, it's my favorite album of 2016.  Granted, the year is still young and all, but aside from the upcoming Theocracy, I seriously doubt I will hear another album from this year that I like as much as Dystopia.

I see people are comparing it to Countdown to Extinction and Endgame.  I think it is way better than either of those.  (Am I the only one here who thinks Countdown is massively overrated?)  In fact, I'd say it's almost as great as Rust in Peace, which is a very high compliment from me.

See, I feel exactly the opposite.  I thought every song was catchy and memorable.  And I just love the sound they having going here in general.

The lyrics are great too.  I don't always agree with Mustaine, but I have to give him credit - he usually does write interesting stuff.

Yeah I had a listen to the latest Megadave album, and I was pleasantly surprised by it.
It is very good. Oh and Iced earth though I have not heard that particular album, or listened to them in a few years.

I love the album.  I saw them a couple weeks ago when they came to town. They put on a great show!  There's plenty left in the tank.

I wasn't really much of a fan after So Far..., but this new album is pretty impressive.
