Thanks!  I had always dismissed Saint over their rather Left Behind themed lyrics which are not really my thing, but I could also overlook that pretty easily if they bring the Gospel loud and clear.    I'll admit though that I haven't done a deep dive on their lyrics and might be off-base.

They're playing at a biker bar right near the Idaho/Washington border.  It's the same spot I saw Chase The Sun play per my earlier post.  It's a pretty laid-back place and quite intimate which I dig.

Not sure if you remember CMR user D@v!d, but he and I met up to see Saint back in CA probably eight or so years ago.  We both drove through a fair bit of traffic to get there, only to discover that the show had been cancelled without any notice!  He and I had a nice time chilling at a bar or brewery instead, but it was a bit of a letdown indeed.  Hopefully this show will make up for that hahaha!

Yup that Black Rider...  We should probably have a talk with his pastor about that.  It's really getting out of hand.

It’s a little known fact, but he’s actually the frontman of a funeral doom/black metal hybrid band called Scofield. All their songs are either lyrics straight from notes in the Scofield Study Bible or they’re ABBA covers.

Oh yeah I think Mothy has their unrecorded/unreleased demo.

Saint and Chase The Sun were great!  There were probably less than 100 people at the show and only 25ish or so up front which made for a very intimate show.  Chase The Sun played a handful of new songs which have me especially stoked for their upcoming EP.  Saint sounded very good and had a lot of energy.  Their singer was very dynamic and engaged with the fans a ton.
