I also agree that most of the catalogs of Petra, White Heart and Theocracy fit the bill.
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me
There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Re: Encouraging albums?
I'd say the first two on Rise are encouraging. Maybe songs like Fingernails and Forsaken from Collide aren't. Would It Matter and Lucy certainly aren't. But I agree overall. Collide title track was the song that helped the most when I was battling depression.eatbugs wrote:Skillet. Re: Encouraging albums?
There are too many.
I was never truly a part of a church, or never really felt part of one, so many of the most emotive experiences with GOD I have had in life, were through reflexions based on songs, mostly.
Some I remember:
The year was 2015, maybe and I had just discovered the Band Letter 7 when I was in a huge depression.
I was listening to the Trust album everyday and their songs were quite encouraging to me. Mostly the song "Don't Fall Away".
When I was very young, again through a difficult moment, I was listening to the just released Third day's Wherever you are album. Some songs on that album are very encouraging, as well.
