Stryper acoustic tour (and album) coming soon...

JUST ANNOUNCED! We were going to hold off on announcing this show until after the new year, but we figured we'd start getting the word out. JKB Entertainment Group/Limelight Magazine has booked STRYPER at the Narrows Center in Fall River, MA, on June 6, 2024. This is part of the band's "To Hell with the Amps - The Unplugged Tour." If you recall, we booked Stryper's first acoustic show ever in New Hampshire in 2014. We also booked Michael Sweet's solo acoustic show at the Narrows Center in 2017 which was filmed for his DVD release "Sole." This is going to be a great night of music with the band performing their hits and fan favorites, spanning their 40-year career. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, January 10 at 10 AM through the Narrows Center's website.

Oh man, they totally missed out on a great marketing opportunity.  If they were truly "unplugged" they should be standing in front of a horse and buggy!

I remember the trend was pretty popular after Extreme did that More Than Words mega hit. 

Maybe it’s just on their bucket list.

Is It strange I find it strange that people into Stryper don't seem to enthusiastic to have an acoustic show by them... if it was say King's X doing a full on acoustic show I'd be mad excited about that and def go to the show if I lived over that ways an be buying the cd etc...

Also who knows how long these bands are going to be around but probably not for much longer I'd say... gotta love them while they are still around.

Yeah Mtv Unplugged had some great concerts. Man I miss those days.

I'll wait for the download.  Still sounds kind of cool.

I just couldn't help myself, I broke down and preordered it. I mean, I loves me some Stryper but I'm 99.44% sure I'm not going to like this. But when you offer me a buck off a $6 novelty chocolate bar, how could I say no? (true story) 

Also true - I pre-ordered Live at the Whisky, listened to it many times. STILL haven't watched the DVD

PS That better be the best **** chocolate I've ever tasted
