Stryper's 2019 tour schedule is set

May 21 my son and I will be going to see them for the 4th time.

We are going to do the standard meet & greet also, as he has always wanted to do it.

This will be the shortest distance we have every traveled to see them (a little over 2 hours)

Nowhere near me darnnit.

Once again I won't be able to see them.

Got to see them twice last year (New York and Brisbane Australia) hopefully they get back down here soon as I don't have the $$$ to fly to the USA at the moment

I don’t think you’re missing much if you can’t see them. I saw them in 2017 and I didn’t think they were as good. Mike really preserves his voice live. It’s understandable, because if he didn’t, at his age, his voice would never hold up for an entire tour. But he put so much into the vocals on the records, that when I heard him sing live last time, it sounded pretty rough at times.

Obviously, he doesn't sound like he did in the 80s (thank God).

I'm sure there are tweaks done in the studio to help him sound even better in recordings, there is with any singer, but his voice still sounds fantastic live. I've heard him hit some pretty amazing notes in concert.

That scream he does at the end of The Way you can tell he is using a track. I wonder if they have done Lost live and if he can do the high notes from that song live. He still has a good voice though

I'm thinking about flying from Newfoundland on the east coast of Canada to Toronto, Ontario where they will be playing on May 15. It's about a 2 or 3 hour flight.
