Luke Easter wrote:I wanted something that kind of didn’t tip off too much what to expect. The colors pop pretty well, the typography is clear and bold, and there’s a skull; but to me it still doesn’t say I’m part of a particular scene or genre.
In my opinion… if I saw the shirt and had no idea who you were, I would assume the shirt is from an outlaw country/rock artist. Mainly because most country music artists use their full name instead of a band name (hence: Allan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley etc…)
Those obviously are not outlaw musicians, but it’s just an example of some names in the music industry.
And the skull could represent anything from old school glam metal to Molly Hatchet or ZZ Top. The skull just insinuates that the music isn’t too sugar coated (there’s an edginess to it).

I happen to be a casual Skynyrd fan. Their guitar players were top notch. Especially Allen Collins.
R.I.P. to the last original member, Gary Rossington

I think the "pistols" in Luke's logo are actually microphones.

I know.
He substituted what other bands had done with pistols or swords... It’s the style.

I know Luke has killer vocals, but don't you think we should ban assault microphones?
I know, I know! I'll see myself out.

Re: New interview
*clarification*
It’s obviously an intentional pun I came up with that ties into the signature tune Ark of Suffering. But since Luke is a “killer” vocalist that previously performed in Tourniquet, I thought it was an amusing idea.
