Very cool!

While many of you don't really care for parodies, I had to do one just for fun.  I used to play this with my old band Stressin' many years ago.  My voice had shifted enough that I couldn't sing it in the original key.  So, I retuned my 3 string cigar box guitar to open F and did this ZZ Top classic my way.

Cool. The first album is a fun listen, so this one is on the queue for the next purchases. (As soon as I discoverer why neither Itunes or amazon is working for me)

Thanks, Staybrite!  It has taken me years, but I have finally learned to mix/master my own projects and get a great sound.

Here's another track from the album!  While I did a ZZ Top cover, I also wanted to do something that kind of had their 80's sound.  I don't have all the synths they used, but the song was written to feel familiar.  I also tried really hard to nail a solo that was reminiscent of Billy Gibbons.  I think I got close.

On this track, I am playing all the instruments.  It was written by Peter Billet and myself.  Enjoy!
