You live in California, correct? If so, there might be a small, slight, tiny chance that you could see them. If you were vacationing in Europe.

I had heard the snippet of the first half of the chorus and thought *meh*. Holy cow, that's like the best chorus ever

Shawn Benson played the drums on this album. Ernie is their touring drummer. He's in the video as well.

I've had Ghost Ship since Monday now.  It's really, really good.  Definitely lives up to the hype.  It's not as good as Mirror of Souls (which is my favorite from them) but it is in 2nd place so far!

How did you get it early?

I preordered it a while ago directly from Ulterium, and they shipped it early because I live in the U.S. Got the double white vinyl and CD bundle.  

It's quite thrashy like Mirror is, but it does have the refined sound of Bleeds.  This is their least progressive, at least in my opinion, but it really hammers you with a combo of really good riffs (A Call to Arms may have a cheery chorus, but it has one of their best riffs ever in the verses) and the usual Matt Smith melody. Paper Tiger is already tied with Icthus as my favorite opener from them and Wonder of it All, Castaway, and Stir the Embers are amazing power thrash numbers. Easter is also a top 3 epic, right up there with I Am and Mirror of Souls.

Can't wait! One of my favorite bands. Keeping myself from listening to any clips until I get a chance to listen to the whole thing myself. Also have recently been trying not to listen to too much of their back catalog until then. Love 'em!

I'm hoping that amazon will let me dl it tomorrow.

I awoke to find my Ghost Ship freshly downloaded and waiting for me. After hearing the samples, I was slightly concerned it might be too polished. Those concerns are gone. Another home run for Theocracy.

First two songs that were released via youtube were good, but both midtempo. Hopefully there will be speedy moments on the album.

^^ You're gonna want tracks like Paper Tiger, The Wonder Of It All, and Stir the Embers.

Definitely one of Theocracy's top four albums.

As of right now, it's my second favorite album from them.  There are a few spots I think are slightly weak, but overall it's absolutely fantastic.  It sits two points higher than Bleeds, but four points behind Mirror.

After two days of it, it's amazing and getting better! Every song is excellent and I like how tight it is from beginning to end. If there was a flaw with As The World Lies Bleeding is a was being a little drawn it in portions. This album flows one end to the other with no need for breaks. Not sure if it's actually their best but it won't be a slight if it's not. Such wonderful lyrics. Super satisfied.

Listened to it twice so far, and yes it does get better.  First listen I thought it was great but not like the previous two.  Now I'm thinking it's just as good.  Paper Tiger, which I overlooked on first listen (not sure why) is absolutely stellar!
