I thought so. Along with The Conjuring 2, one of the better horror flicks of the last year or so.

Yeah it actually looks pretty decent. I may have to check it out. I haven't seen the Conjuring flicks either, though I've heard good things of those as well.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Just finished the Man From U.N.C.L.E. Very spotty. There were some really great moments and elements to it. Loved Superman in it. Didn't like the Russian and the plot was messy. Too bad, I think it could have been great.
Re: Recently Watched Movies
^That one was pretty decent I thought. I really appreciated how it went from straight-up sci-fi to slasher horror. I like it when movies don't stay in just one predetermined genre.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Finished the 2013 version of Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Interesting. Not as exciting or funny as a movie that I thought it was going to be, but a decent watch.

Watched The Mask with the kids today. They had never seen it. Last night I finished Captain America II: Death Too Soon. This was a 70's TV movie. It was like trudging through mud.

Best film in the series IMO (with the original and New Nightmare coming in close by)TMLMKE wrote:A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors

Went to the latest pirates movie with my daughters. The only thing that kept me awake was the popcorn!
Johnny Depp acted bored, and his character is old (not physically old, but "been there, done that" old). The only thing I really liked about the whole story is how back-story details are provided for every every main series character that we don't already know about (Barbossa, Sparrow, etc.) and that each character's storyline is brought to a more or less fitting end. They did provide a little post-credits tease of more to come, but I'd be surprised if they did any more. This series has played itself out.

Finished Uncle Buck last night. Don't think it aged as well as other John Hughes films from the 80's.

Yeah, but you had a different moniker at the time.

Yeah, I left as Adam in early 2016 and came back a few months later.

I went to see this today. Loved it! It is one of the more fun movies to watch.
Is it over the top brain candy? Yep! Do you still have a drunken Jack Sparrow just narrowly getting by? Yep! Same schtick, but it works.
I did love how they tidied every character up, but with the teaser at the end, they are definitely going after one more.
Re: Recently Watched Movies
Just saw Wonder Woman. It was good, though I felt they made her a bit more like Supergirl than Wonder Woman. I'd say more but I don't want to give anything away. In any case, it was worth the money.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
I finished watching the 70's Dr. Strange TV movie. Ugh! It was a labor of love. These old 70's MARVEL TV movies are painfully slow and low on action. Maybe it was just the times.
Also watched The Masterminds. It's a comedy about the biggest heist in American history. Was not that funny.

I've been watching some of the straight to DVD Steven Seagal movies. Wow, they are terrible. Some of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I remember thinking, after about three movies, that Seagal was going to become the next Clint Eastwood. Boy did I miss the mark with that prediction.
