Caddyshack. Hadn't seen this in years. Still hilarious, but forgot about some of the nudity and raunchiness of it. The story line is out the door, but the laughs make up for it.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Third time watching this one. The boy had never seen it. I think it got better with age, but was still a bloat fest.

Saint Vincent. Not bad. Started off with me questioning it being a "comedy", but it got better.

I watched a very weird futuristic flick called Snowpiercer. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706620/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Now I see that TNT is planning a made for TV series called Snowpiercer.

I started watching that a while back, and couldn't get into it. But I know a ton of people that liked it.

Bought the Hacksaw Ridge DVD after being very impressed with the movie in the theater. Was even better watching at home. Love the bonus features.

Ha I haven't seen Caddyshack in forever.  I honestly don't remember much of it other than wishing for more Bill Murray and the pool scene.  Smile

I thought Snowpiercer was pretty good though a bit overrated.  Haha of course they're making a tv show of it... Rolling Eyes  Hollywood truly has run out of ideas!

-Never heard of The Charnel House
-My wife and kids enjoyed The Secret Life of Pets (though I have not seen it yet)
-The 10th Kingdom - Say no more. That was a terrible mini-series! Perhaps it seemed awesome to a lot of folks since it is pre-LOTR, but in my opinion, it was terrible. The wolf was the most annoying character followed by the troll family.

You would think somewhere in the 3rd or 4th hour they figure out it stinks. But nooo, we must have 7 hours of this.

Arrival and Passengers. Arrival to me was too much of a slow builder without much of a pay off. The emotional ending that they wanted to me fell flat. I think Interstellar did a better job. Passengers was pretty good, BUT the climatic part to me was too unbelievable.

Saying Alive 1983

I think the word that most summarizes that film is 'anorexia'.

Recently watched "Brazil" and thought it held up pretty good after all these years. But I did find the love story a little rushed and improbable.

Also watched "Keeping up with the Joneses" Funnier than I thought it would be.

I haven't seen that one in years!  Good flick.  Gilliam is so hit-or-miss but that's definitely one of his better films.  The Fisher King is still my favorite of his though.

I haven't seen the Fisher King, as well as 12 Monkeys and a handful of other movies of his. I did love the Holy Grail, Time Bandits, and the Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

Oh dude you should get on that then!  The Fisher King is one of my top 10 favorite movies for sure.  It's really great.  12 Monkeys is pretty good too though I didn't love it.

And whatever you do, stay away from Tideland.  It is TERRIBLE.  It just makes you feel filthy watching it.  I kept thinking it'll get better and it just doesn't.  Don't watch it.

Okay, so I watched 12 Monkeys. Not bad. I liked Brad Pitt when he was relatively unknown. Even tho it was a serious movie, it was interesting to see Gilliam's quirky touches in the film.

Just finished the Fisher King, and ... I want my time back. Just didn't jive with me.

Aww seriously?!?  Dang I love The Fisher King.  So good.  It definitely isn't for everyone though.  It's an odd combination of zany comedy and intense drama but there's just something about it that I really connected with.

I thought the Fisher King was alright (not amazing, but definitely worth watching at least once).

I have seen 12 Monkeys half-a-dozen times and think it is a great film despite Brad Pitt.  Funny I'm not a huge fan of Willis or Stowe either, but still really liked the movie.
