Secular Metal Lyrics

Despite the obvious disagreements that are clearly deeper than "______ lyrics are bad/not bad", I do find the differences interesting.

Taste, preference, priority, conviction - maybe a few other ingredients make this recipe.

I mean, we're all saved, we're all seeking God... certainly we have better things to discuss (metal) than to argue over the fine print.

I just wish "I listen to Dark Funeral because its spooky harsh fun." and "I don't listen to Dark Funeral because the lyrics are disturbing." was the end of it.  (like how this thread started)

the basic guideline here is "don't be a jerk to people".  If that's "censorship" to you.....if that's too much for you to handle, then find a door, and take your passive aggressive bull with you.  We don't need it.
