Re: 2021 metal releases.(secular)
Heh, I'm looking forward to only two of those, namely Accept and Blind Guardian. I actually keep a file of upcoming releases so I won't forget about promising but lesser-known bands; I check their pages every once in a while. So here are the ones I'm particularly looking forward to:
Arcane Tales - Tales from ShĂ ranworld (February 5th)
Crom - The Era of Darkness
Dragony - Veribus Unitis (January 15th)
Eoten - The Golden Throne
Ephemerald - Between the Glimpes of Hope (February 19th)
Evertale - The Heartland Must Fall
Instanzia - Spinning Maze (fingers crossed for this one to be released this year)
Operadyse - Redeemer
Orden Ogan - Final Days (March 12th)
Timeless Miracle - Under the Moonlight (fingers crossed even more)
And for the ones without an album title yet:
Arion
Cain's Offering
Dragonland
Dreamtale
Fellowship
Galderia
Helloween
Insania
Nahtram
Rammstein
Spielfreude
Valhalore
Guess my favourite genre

Throw a Slayer release in there and it could be 1985.
I hope the Helloween is quality, last couple have had a few good songs but a lot of filler.

Agreed, although I thought My God-Given Right was a step-up from Straight out of Hell, which I thought was mostly awful.

Yeah, sucks that Slayer did their farewell tour and split up a couple years ago
