YOUR FAVORITE NWOBHM BANDS

Ok, there was a ton of Maiden talk going on here, so I was inspired to try using the "split" tool for the first time so as not to hi-jack the thread into a Maiden thread.  It appears to have been successful (I think ), so if we've got comments about Maiden in regards to NWOBHM, go ahead with them here.......but if it's just a general Iron Maiden comment, let's put them in the "Let's discuss Maiden!" thread.


I've really been into a blackmetal mood as of late, but all these NWOBHM bands posted here are a great listen!  Keep 'em coming!

If you dont have them I recommend these albums by Roxxcalibur..this band has gone back and rerecorded all the old songs and done a fantastic job...the cd's are good, the packaging and inserts are good..

That's some quality old school metal.

Lets face it guys, would there have really been a NWOBHM ( as we know it anyway ) without these guys ?






....other than Judas Priest and Sabbath of course.

I'm on an old-school NWOBHM kick right now.

My current favorite band:  Saxon!

I’ve been on a heavy Saxon kick lately. They are awesome.
