Erasure is my fave of the bunch here!

Oops. I complained about there being no Duran Duran on the first poll. :-) All is well with my world now.

I never really took to Heart (haha, took to heart) after their first couple of albums, and I think U2 is the most overrated band on the planet. Not bad, but not that great.
I haven't made up my mind about Journey yet.

Went with Journey although their ROR stuff hasn't aged very well. Suzanne, Girl Can't Help It, all great songs when they came out but the only thing I can listen to now from that album is "Be Good To Yourself". I loved this when it was new. But on this album Journey was reduced to a trio firing Ross Vallory and Steve Smith. Ross's replacement was none other than Michael's brother Randy Jackson.
And I LOVE this song by Information Society, however I can't pick them because 1. I hated this type of music when it was new and 2. It is the only song I know by them. I'm sure everyone knows this but "Pure Energy" is spoken by Leonard Nimoy.
And Duran Duran, while i like them I prefer the 90's stuff like Come Undone and Ordinary World. Michael Jackson would be a close second to Journey for me. I loved his stuff at the time. REO Speedwagon was great in the late 70's and Hi Infidelity but after that there was too much slick cheese pop (kind of like Journey's Raised On Radio). U2 is great but I really wasn't into them at the time. Heart also became ultra slick. What happened to the Barracuda sound? I guess I picked Journey mainly for the strong releases on Escape and Frontiers.
