Which 80s Style Music do you enjoy?

I love 80s music! I voted for almost all of them!

Out of those choices, Depeche Mode would easily be my favorite though!

How can you make an 80s music poll and not include Michael Jackson? The guy even has metal cred as he worked with Slash and EVH!

Ziggy Stardust (Bowie)

Loved me some Pat Benatar...but I enjoy music from pretty much all of those groups in the 80s

Because Michael Jackson in the opinion of this poster sucks and i was trying to shy away from the obvious ones

I voted for David Bowie, Tears for Fears, and Depressed Mode

Though for 80s Bowie I think my fav song is Ashes to Ashes from like 1980

My fave Bowie songs are "Let's Dance" and "China Girl". I guess that's early 80s right?

Raven yup 1983 you might like Ashes to Ashes its got that synth sound, if you have the best of bowie its on there.

Yeah, Ashes to Ashes is good. I like most of Bowie's stuff. I'm a casual fan.

My daughter is a huge fan!

She told me the other night ... "Daddy I'm not marrying anyone unless they look like David Bowie ... but they have to believe in Jesus" she said!

   

Still listen to a greatest Hits I have by Tears for Fears and have a couple Bowie songs around.

When I was a teenager, after metal The Cure was my favourite band.

Modern English had only one good song...so they rerecorded several times and that's how they made their career...

No disrespect, but Modern English had a TON of good songs. Unfortunately, the only success they had was with the one big song.

Modern English is a very underrated band! Their first 4 albums are gold! They did go downhill in the 90s however ... But their early 80s stuff ... is legend.

Not a fan of The Culture Club ... though I like a few songs.

I added "Other". And it's Harold Faltermeyer.

The Outfield, Journey (Escape, Frontiers), Stray Cats, Loverboy and countless 80's movie soundtracks. And of course all 80's metal.

I always liked The Outfield too! Good stuff!

No Duran Duran.  Tsk... I voted Tears For Fears and Depeche Mode. They're the closest.

I was leaving some obvious ones out notice no Michael Jackson either -gag-  and that was why there was the Other option

I chose for Tears For Fears. Their Songs From The Big Chair album is fantastic. If it was a 90's poll i would have chosen Depeche Mode. I love Violator and Songs Of Faith And Devotion, but they are from the 90's. The Cure would have been a great choice as well, but i also prefer their 90's stuff over their 80's albums.

Other mentionable artists i like: Duran Duran, Simple Minds, U2 (why aren't they in the poll!!!), A-Ha, Toto.

I Love the Violator Album by Depeche Mode too.
