I still have the California Metal cassette tapes.. The highlight was a band called Soldier with two killer songs: Tears and Borderline. I tracked down a collectible CD in later years but the rest of the tunes were not that good.

The absolute best 90’s metal CD was Fear Not, recently released in vinyl. All ten tracks are great.

The best player everyone forgot about is Dennis Cameron (Angelica). Love Walkin’ in Faith.
